New speed ribs wrap your foot to keep you planted and stable while providing a control surface all over the upper. By varying the size of the ribs, Nike was able to create larger surfaces on certain areas of the upper to help you get more control on shots and passes.

About The Author:

Our coaches were never the biggest or fastest, but we all still earned our way to play Division 1 and went on to play at a professional level.

It's because we spent countless hours training the drills we'd come up with on our own, playing street soccer with friends using laundry baskets as goals, and being students of the game on every team we played on.

It all started when the inventor, Ryan Maina, was just a kid. Ryan grew up in Kenya and loved to play soccer (I mean... football) with his friends and family. He would walk miles to the "field" which was an empty lot filled with dirt and weeds. His older brother dominated him on the pitch which sparked his creativity and hunger to become better at the game.

Ryan designed a ball out of paper, rubber, and thread would find on the street, and tied it to a string so he could practice on his long walk to and from the field every day. He eventually surpassed his brother and went on to play professionally in Kenya.

He was able to bring his idea to life when he moved to the United States. The first prototype was made out of an elastic underwear string. He was persistent and after years of trial and error, the Soccer Sidekick, now known as the Futsolo was brought to market. Check out the video below:

Are you ready to take your game to the next level? If you are serious about taking your game to the next level, or just want to have fun while getting extra touches on the ball, get yours today.
